Ralph D - Resentment and Obsession of the Mind is a Dangerous Place - Meeting 227
Here is a little about Ralph D. From being raped by his brother at the age of 15 and groomed by four of his friends from that age until I was almost 18 lead him to many years of resentment, drinking very hard, using drugs and planning on killing the five of them or anyone that looked like them. The planning went on for many years in his head because he was trying to figure out a way of getting away with it without having to go to prison and without having to kill himself. In 2006 a friend of his told him (while they were drinking Jack Daniels and snorting cocaine) that he could find happiness in life if he went to AA and worked the steps and he believed hi=s friend. Ralph worked the steps right away after getting a sponsor and learned about forgiveness through working the fourth fifth sixth and seventh step. Through doing that he has never had that resentment again and his life has been much better. He currently has almost 3 years of S-Anon sobriety and part of the message he wants to give is to don't give up and to keep coming back. He speaks to us today on resentment and obsession of the mind being a dangerous place to be.
