An Addiction Recovery Lunch-hour Speaker Meeting. A new guest speaker with at least 1 year sobriety from any addiction, and who is actively working in recovery, will speak for 25 minutes each week on a specific recovery topic. This will be followed by a moderated 25 minute Q & A session from the live audience. The live speaker meetings will be held on Zoom each Friday at 10:00 AM Pacific time. WHEN PATT O WAS 11 MONTHS OLD, HE CAME INTO THE ROOM OF ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS WITH HIS MOM WHO WAS EITHER GOING TO GO TO AA OR PRISON FOR 10 YEARS. GROWING UP IN THE ROOMS WAS NOT ENOUGH TO KEEP PATT SOBER. HIS JOURNEY OF ALCOHOLISM AND ADDICTION TOOK HIM TO SKID ROW. PATT KNEW HE WAS DYING FROM - BUT DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT ALCOHOLISM WAS. TODAY AS A RESULT OF A SPIRITUAL AWAKENING PATT is A FREE MAN! Today Patt O. speaks to us on Step 1.

We gather from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and places to learn and support one another. Our speakers are members of various fellowships, addictions, and afflictions, thus showing the common threads of recovery, no matter our addiction or affliction.
